William Fevre Petit Chablis
If you’re looking for an introduction or have long been a fan of the style, consider your quest fulfilled for an everyday Chablis that’s the perfect accompaniment to fresh fish and oysters… The William Fevre estate owns more than 50 hectares in the heart of Chablis, of which more than half carry Premiers Cru and Grands Cru designations, of which portions are in this value-end Chablis.
Subtle aromas of apricot kernels, red apples and cinnamon leading to lemon pie, baking spices and gentle nutty notes.
A rich palate structure with a chalky, minerality, certainly made in a full-bodied style compared to most Petit Chablis, speaking of a warmer vintage, and hence offering a great drinking, everyday style with texture supported by the zesty acidity inherent to the region. Great value for money. Delicious now through 2028. The recommended serving temperature is 10-13 degrees.
