Penkridge Farm Central Otago Rose 2025

Bursting with bright red fruits, this Rose will freshen anyone's day up. Stands out amongst a very crowded category.

"Flooding, wild winds and frost in spring of the 2024 vintage was followed by a warm and dry flowering period with excellent fruit set. A warm summer ripened the fruit beautifully, and the cool nights of early autumn allowed excellent acid retention. Our crop volume was down slightly due to a frost in late October, along with fruit thinning at veraison. The remaining fruit was beautifully ripe and even, and delivered to Matt to work his magic on! We know the French make rosé in a style that perfectly complements their summer climate and cuisine. Matt has made us the Central Otago version. Perfect summer drinking on its own or paired with food.

Delicate cherry, vanilla and red fruits across the palate supported by a long finish with a lovely soft mouthfeel" - Owner
