Very full and expressive on the nose, with notes of grapefruit and greengage, full and plump rather than lean. The palate reveals this to be Sauvignon in the creamy style, but with attractive acidity and a crisp, racy finish.

Domaine Gerard Fiou is a boutique producer located within the wine appellation area of Sancerre, just over nine hectare planted, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The vineyard is merely hundreds meters away from the Loire river.
