Super Premium Garnacha from Rioja 

Made exclusively selected old plots of Garnacha in the sun-soaked Baja region of Rioja. This soft seductive wine exhibits the typical Garnacha character of blackberries, plums, blackcurrants and cherries. The mouthfeel is soft and rounded with smooth tannins, it has a long, mouth filling finish. Aged 12 months in French and American oak.

Fincas de Azabache is a state-of-the-art cooperative, founded in December 1956 located in the town of Aldeanueva de Ebro, some 59km SE from Logroño. The Bodegas has 502 hectares of vines selected from the best family estates or ‘fincas’, grown in a continental climate between 350-600 metres above sea with both Atlantic and Mediterranean influences at the foot of Mount Yerga, which is at the heart of the driest sub region of Rioja Oriental. Their soils are alluvial and ferrous clay, that provide the wines with unique terroir traits.
